You connect to a network and have no idea what else is on it. Network Scanner gives you the full picture in seconds.
What it does
Choose quick scan or deep scan. The tool enumerates all devices on your local network and returns:
- IP address — the device's LAN address
- Hostname — resolved DNS name when available
- MAC address — hardware identifier
- Device type — phone, laptop, printer, smart TV, router, and more
Quick vs deep scan
Quick scan sweeps the common IP range in seconds. Good for a fast count of what's connected.
Deep scan probes each address more thoroughly, resolving hostnames and fingerprinting device types. Takes longer but returns more detail.
Use cases
- Audit devices before a security review
- Find the IP of a new device you just connected
- Spot unexpected guests on your home network
- Debug connectivity issues by confirming a device is actually reachable
